Our  vision is to reach out to broken individuals and families, bring them into the family of Jesus Christ, heal and restore them, help them to realize their purpose, equip and empower them to empower others in the church to exalt God’s name.

In the book of Acts 2:44 the bible says “44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

When we read the portion of scripture above, it shows the fundamentals of the church. But it significantly shows that when a person becomes born again, the first sign is to give away all he has for his debt to be paid. First, it’s asking for forgiveness, repent, accept our Lord Jesus in your heart, give away your possessions and your debt is paid. This happened through the Holy Spirit that they were in one accord. They sold their possessions and goods, when we study the words possessions and goods, possessions mean their estate and goods means their existence, meaning their property or wealth. And this is the part of selling everything you have for the sake of your brother’s debt is the problem in the church.

The bible says in Deuteronomy 15:7 7 “If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother, 8 but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs.

Acts 4:32 “Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.”

The scriptures above show the level of the importance in taking care of one another. It doesn’t say it’s wrong to have possessions but it’s says your brother’s life is more important than your possessions. The church today has not focused on the point of giving up anything other than “your spiritual self” to God. I don’t even know what that means. Today’s church is focused on getting tithes and offerings to maintain its services. Yes, in part of those services is to preach, welfare and so forth but none of the members are free. There are healing services to heal the multitudes who are in debt and when they come to Christ they are still expected to have faith to get money to give to the Church. When there is a need, like you need a job or you don’t have money to pay bond, electricity or buy food, the leaders of the church will stand with you in prayer to ask God to supply a need, bind the devil, loose the blessing and ask God to help you to have faith for the money you need and you are sent of your way. Where is the love in that? where is Acts 2:44 in that? There is so much about self in the body of Christ even the messages are about how to increase your faith to get the life you are destined to live, how to prosper when everyone is struggling forgetting that he who finds his life will lose it. What has Christianity become of? It has been reduced to faith, grace and prosperity. But love is main factor that is forgotten.

The bible says in James 2:14-16 – “14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith save him? 15If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacks daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, what good is it?

Why did James specifically mention the work of faith here? The bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So that means he got the scripture somewhere that says you must clothe and feed your brethren, right? Isaiah 58:7 “Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?

If Christianity is to be identified again as a way to God through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord through the Holy Spirit, we need to repent from where we have fallen Rev 2:5. None of the works we are doing are of Love. We have made the Word of God to be non-effect with our traditions.

We live in a world where we are poverty stricken, hopelessness and not well in health divided in race and gender. And to top it the people are stressed with making ends meet. We are caught up in a rat race that leads us nowhere other than removing us from the presence of God. While parents see to provide for their children, the children are left alone, day care or after care. The parents provide for children they don’t know what they’ll become when they grow up. We spend less time with family and more time at work, working from 6 to 6 jobs that pay minimum wage still trying to survive or eating the bread of sorrow.  Because of spending little time with our loved ones, we find ourselves being in other third parties arms leading to infidelity and with not much knowledge or counselling, this end up in divorces or early deaths due to work pressure or accidents that might occur. And children left broken hearted and grow up without a mother or a father and not knowing their love or being loved by both parents and this result in rebellion. This culture of providing for our families in sacrifice of spending time with them has crept into the church. People have lost their visions and dreams, the purpose to life. And they come to church when they need something from God and when they have most of them leave and we’ll see them when they need something again.

The devil has removed our eyes from God to our needs. We even know the scriptures of our needs more than God, more than Jesus who made it possible for us to access the promises. We even study the promises of God than God Himself, it’s as if the church is a sinking boat to go to hell while we are worshipping in excitement. Prayer and the studying of the Word of God has been neglected. If we study the word, we study it in the comfort of our homes individually and come to meet at church only on weekends and once during the week. How can the church of Christ be strengthened like this?

Our ministry comes in here in bringing families together, helping and guiding them to the Lord for salvation and restoration. And they will live victorious lives here on earth and in heaven.

The Solution

The objective is to build a community of Christians (Micah 4:1-5) irrespective of their denomination, providing a tool of a daily companion to help Christians to be in tact with the Word of God, in worship and in prayer, John 4:23.

Referencing the book of Acts 2:44 again, the bible says “44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

  1. Love the Lord our God with all our hearts
  2. Love your neighbor as yourselg
  3. Love your brethen as Christ has love you
  4. We need to meet daily from house to house
  5. Break the bread daily with one another
  6. Study the word daily
  7. Pray and Worship together daily
